Hello,
I'm Christelle
I am registered with the UK Health & Care Professions Council and have professional work experience across different clinical settings within the private, NHS and charity sectors.
As a Counselling Psychologist, I am able to work with a wide range of difficulties. I have a special interest in supporting clients with stress and anxiety, depression, coping with trauma and addictions, relationship difficulties, as well as managing life changes.
I believe that you are the expert of your own life and that you possess strengths that can help you navigate life’s challenges. In our work together, I use an integrative approach, collaborating with you to address the difficulties you may be facing.

I help people reconnect with their true selves and create lasting change through therapy that focuses on living in alignment with their values, understanding and managing emotions, healing from past pain, and building practical, evidence-based coping skills.

Flexible and Personalized Support
Video calls
Video calls are the closest to in-person and is also the most popular. Video calls can help build a rapport between callers, giving clients a sense of connection. It also allows therapists to observe body language and other nuances.
Phone calls
Phone calls are a familiar and comfortable mode of communication for most. It also offers a similar real-time conversational element to video calls, but by removing the visual element, clients may feel more relaxed and less vulnerable.
Email provides a structured exchange where clients write about their concerns, thoughts, or feelings and receive a response the following day. It can be helpful if you need more time to reflect or have been battling with certain thoughts and feelings that you’re not quite ready to share out loud.
Chat or Instant Messaging
Chat or instant messaging are convenient for those seeking consistent wellbeing support. It works well for those with limited time who prefer to share thoughts as they happen, or who want to set an appointment time to chat online in real time.

When Is Online Therapy Not the Best Option?
While online therapy can be a helpful and flexible option for many people, it may not be the most appropriate choice in every situation.
It is generally not recommended if:
-
The person is in crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts
-
They are dealing with complex or severe mental health difficulties (such as psychosis)
-
They lack access to a private space or reliable internet connection
-
They have a strong preference for face-to-face support
In some cases, high levels of distress or more complex needs are better addressed through in-person therapy. If it becomes clear that face-to-face support would be more beneficial, this will be discussed with the client, and assistance will be provided in arranging a suitable referral.
Sessions & Fees
The frequency of sessions is client‑led – meaning you decide how often you’d like to meet, whether that’s weekly, fortnightly, or on an as‑needed basis.
